Syntax highlighting
Editor.NET is designed to highlight syntax for virtually unlimited set of programming languages.
Syntax parsing is performed using a finite-state automaton driven by regular expressions matching the parsed text. You can develop your own syntax highlighting schemes using Syntax Builder and customize colors used for highlighting. Editor.NET is supplied with more than 20 ready-to-use syntax schemes for the most commonly used modern programming languages, including C, C#, Delphi, Xml, Html, Perl, etc.
Unlike advanced syntax parsers syntax-scheme based parsers can be used for providing syntax highlighting only.
